When is the RSVP deadline and how do I let you know I am coming?
Please RSVP by the end of the year (31st December 2025) via the RSVP link on the website home page. But the earlier you can let us know, the better! The RSVP form will also capture other important details such as dietary requirements, DJ requests, where you will be staying and need for bus transport.
Can I bring a plus one?
As much as we would love everyone to bring along their partner (and celebrate with all our extended family and friends), we have reserved invites to close family members and friends only. Please see your invitation for further details.
Are kids welcome?
Infants and young children under 3 years of age for all guests are very welcome at the ceremony and reception. Children over 3 years of age are reserved for immediate family and the bridal party only.
What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal to formal depending on what you feel most comfortable wearing. The ceremony will be in a grassy area, so we recommend wearing thicker heels rather than stilettos.
Is the wedding indoors?
The ceremony will be taking place outdoors between the urns. The reception will be indoors in the Hunter Rothbury Room.
What is the wet weather plan?
The James Busby Room will be the alternative location for the Ceremony in the event it rains.
How do I let you know about dietary restrictions?
The venue caters to all dietary requirements with advance notice. Please ensure you note any requirements in your online RSVP.
Where should I stay?
Voco Kirkton Park has accommodation available to stay on-site. However, unfortunately the prices have surged for our wedding weekend. See the Accommodation tab for further information with different options. March is a popular month and rooms are already booking out quickly, so we recommend arranging accommodation as soon as you can.
Will there be a seat for me at the ceremony?
The ceremony will be outdoors, with a combination of seats and standing. Priority for seating will be given to older guests, mother and father of the bride and groom, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding and those living with illness or disability. Please indicate in the online RSVP if you need us to reserve you a seat.
Can I take photos of the ceremony?
We have an amazing professional photographer capturing all the special moments, so please sit back and enjoy the ceremony. Feel free to take as many photos as your heart desires after the ceremony and during the reception.
Is transportation being provided between the venue and surrounding accommodation?
We have organised bus transport (Urban Legends Tour Co.) between local accommodation (see Accommodation tab) and the wedding venue. Please indicate in your RSVP where you will be staying and if you require this service.
Who should I contact with further questions?
Facebook messenger is our preferred contact method. Alternatively, you can text Robbie (0449700506) or Clara (0448547143) with questions.
